Texture Assignment (pt.1)

Over the last few days I have realized how much we take texture for granted. Everywhere we go texture forms the world we live in and gives detail and character to our surroundings.

Andrew asked us to illustrate our idea of soft, rough, pitted, woven, crinkled, smooth and hard. Here are my sketches:
